Set & Go Rentals LLC · Last updated October 1, 2026
This Rental Agreement is between Set & Go Rentals LLC (“Set & Go,” “we,” “us”) and the person who books the rental (“you”). You accept it by checking the agreement box at checkout and paying. Checking that box is your signature.
1. What You’re Renting
You are renting the equipment listed on your booking confirmation: our enclosed trailer and the tables, chairs, and dollies inside it (up to 100 chairs and 20 six-foot tables). This Agreement calls all of it the “Equipment.”
If your booking includes a tent, the tent and all of its parts are also Equipment. Section 15 has extra terms that apply to tents.
Set & Go owns the Equipment. You are renting it, not buying it. You may not lend it, re-rent it, or hand it off to anyone else.
2. Rental Period
Your rental period is the date or dates on your booking confirmation.
Customer pickup. Pick up the trailer at 2628 HWY 13, Manchester, IA 52057, any time after 9:00 AM on your first rental date. Return it to the same location before 8:00 AM on the day after your last rental date.
Delivery. We drop the trailer at your event address the morning of your first rental date. We pick it up the morning after your last rental date. You do not need to be there, but the trailer needs a clear, level, ground-level spot we can reach with a truck. Have all Equipment loaded in the trailer and ready when we arrive.
Different times. If we give you a different pickup, delivery, or return time in writing, that time replaces the times above. A text or email from us counts as writing.
3. Payment and Sales Tax
The rental fee, any delivery fee, and Iowa sales tax are due in full at booking. Your date is not reserved until your payment goes through. If a booking is unpaid, we may release the date to another customer.
4. Cancellations, Weather, and Rescheduling
- 48 hours or more before your rental period starts: full refund.
- Less than 48 hours before: no refund.
- Weather: if weather forces you to cancel inside the 48-hour window, you may reschedule once, at no charge, to any open date within 12 months of your original date. Tell us before your scheduled pickup or delivery time.
- If we cancel: if we cannot provide the Equipment, you get a full refund. That refund is our only obligation to you for the cancellation.
Tents. The tent fee is non-refundable and has its own weather terms. See Section 15.
5. Towing the Trailer (Customer Pickup)
If you pick up the trailer, you agree that:
- The driver has a valid driver’s license, and the tow vehicle is insured and rated to pull the loaded trailer.
- The tow vehicle has a 2 5/16" ball and a working trailer light connector. A spare hitch is inside the trailer. If you use it, return it.
- You connect the safety chains and test the lights and blinkers before you leave our lot.
- The trailer carries only our Equipment. No other cargo and no passengers.
- You are responsible for the trailer and everything in it from the time you hook up until it is back at our location.
- You are responsible for damage to the trailer, for traffic and parking tickets, and for any damage or injury caused while you are towing it. Your auto insurance is the first source of coverage.
6. Use and Care
- Use the Equipment only for what it is made for. No standing on tables or chairs.
- No paint, staples, nails, or tape that leaves residue. Do not alter the Equipment.
- Do not leave tables and chairs out in the rain or overnight. Load them back into the trailer when your event is over.
- Keep the trailer closed and secured when no one is with it.
- The Equipment stays at the event address on your booking.
- You are responsible for the Equipment from pickup or delivery until it is back with us. That includes loss or damage caused by your guests, by weather, or by theft.
7. Return Condition
Return the Equipment the way you received it:
- Tables and chairs wiped clean, with no food, drink, trash, or decorations left on them.
- Chairs stacked on the dollies, not loose. Tables loaded the way the instructions inside the trailer show.
- All dollies in the trailer, along with the spare hitch if you used it.
Cleaning fee. If the Equipment comes back needing more than a quick wipe-down, we charge a flat cleaning fee of $75.
8. Late Returns
If the trailer is returned after your return time, or is not loaded and ready when we arrive to pick it up, we charge a flat late fee of $100.
If the trailer is still not back by 5:00 PM that day, we also charge $150 for that day and for each day after it until the trailer is returned.
9. Damaged, Missing, or Stolen Equipment
Normal wear is expected and is not charged. For anything beyond normal wear, and for anything that does not come back, you agree to pay:
| Item | Charge |
|---|---|
| Chair | $50 each |
| 6-foot table | $140 each |
| Chair dolly | $200 each |
| Spare hitch | $50 |
| Trailer damage | Actual repair cost |
| Trailer not returned | Replacement value |
| Tent or tent parts | Actual repair or replacement cost |
If Equipment is stolen while you have it, report it to the police and to us right away. You are still responsible for stolen Equipment at the charges above.
10. Card on File
By paying, you authorize us to keep the card you used at booking on file and to charge it for amounts you owe under this Agreement: the cleaning fee, the late fee, extra rental days, damaged, missing, or stolen Equipment, and tent charges under Section 15.
Before we charge your card:
- We send an itemized notice, with photos, to the email address or phone number on your booking.
- We charge the card 3 days after that notice, unless you have already paid or we have agreed to something different in writing.
If the card is declined, you still owe the amount.
11. Equipment Condition and Warranty
We provide the Equipment clean and in good working condition. Look it over when you receive it and tell us about any problem before you use it.
BEYOND THAT, THE EQUIPMENT IS RENTED AS-IS. WE MAKE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU USE THE EQUIPMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Limit on Our Liability
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, FOR ANY REASON, IS LIMITED TO THE RENTAL FEE YOU PAID. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES, INCLUDING THE COST OF A DELAYED OR CANCELLED EVENT.
13. Your Responsibility for Claims
You agree to defend and reimburse Set & Go, its owners, and its employees for any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, that comes from injury to people or damage to property connected with the Equipment while it is in your possession. This includes the time it is being towed. It does not apply to the extent the injury or damage was caused by our own negligence.
14. General Terms
- Iowa law governs this Agreement. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts located in Delaware County, Iowa.
- This Agreement and your booking confirmation are the whole agreement between us. Any change must be in writing from us. A text or email counts.
- If a court finds any part of this Agreement unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- Questions: setandgorentals.iowa@gmail.com or 563-922-6304.
15. Tent Rentals
This section applies only if your booking includes a tent. Where it differs from the rest of this Agreement, this section controls for the tent.
Setup and takedown. Our tent crew delivers the tent to your event address, sets it up, takes it down, and hauls it away. “Our tent crew” means Set & Go or a tent company working for us. Do not move, lower, adjust, or take down the tent yourself. Do not remove stakes, weights, or straps.
Payment. The tent fee and Iowa sales tax are due in full when you book the tent. The tent is not reserved until that payment goes through.
The tent fee is non-refundable. Once you book a tent, the tent fee is not refunded if you cancel. The 48-hour refund in Section 4 covers tables and chairs only. If we cannot provide the tent for a reason other than weather, you get a full refund of the tent fee.
Before setup day. You agree to:
- Send us a photo of the spot where you want the tent, and tell us whether it is grass, gravel, concrete, or asphalt.
- Call 811 (Iowa One Call) at least 2 weeks before your event and have underground utilities marked where the tent will go.
- Tell us about private lines that 811 does not mark, such as sprinklers, septic lines, and invisible pet fences.
- Give us a clear, level spot within 100 feet of where our truck and trailer can park. A longer carry adds a labor charge.
- Keep the spot clear of overhead power lines and low branches.
If the site is not marked, you are responsible for damage or injury caused by a buried line.
Hard surfaces. On grass, the tent is staked. On gravel, concrete, or asphalt, it is held down with weights, and we do not drill. Setup on a hard surface costs extra, and gravel adds a cleaning charge. We give you those prices before your event.
Setup times. We confirm your setup and takedown times by text or email. If you need setup or takedown at a set time, tell us when you book. A set time adds $50 per trip.
Tent season. Tents are available from May 1 through mid-October, weather permitting.
Weather. A tent is temporary shade and rain cover. It is not a storm shelter.
- If storms or winds of 20 mph or more are forecast for your rental period, we may decide not to set up the tent.
- If weather turns after setup, we may take the tent down early, with or without notice.
- In either case, you receive a credit for the tent fee, good toward another tent rental within 6 months of your original date. No refund is given.
- If we have to move tables, chairs, or decorations to take the tent down, we charge for that labor under Section 10.
- Everyone must leave the tent during lightning, high winds, or severe weather.
Using the tent.
- No grills, fryers, fire pits, fireworks, or open flames under the tent or within 10 feet of it.
- No tape, staples, pins, paint, or spray on the tent fabric. Hang only lightweight decorations, and remove them before takedown.
- Keep vehicles away from the stakes, weights, and straps.
Damage and cleaning. You are responsible for the tent from the time it is set up until our tent crew takes it down. For a damaged, missing, or stolen tent or tent part, you pay the actual repair or replacement cost. The cleaning fee in Section 7 applies if the tent is left with decorations, tape, or food on it.
Lawn and property. Setting up and taking down a tent can leave ruts, stake holes, and worn grass. We are not responsible for that damage, or for damage to landscaping or sprinkler lines. We are also not responsible for damage or injury caused by the tent during severe weather.
By checking the agreement box at checkout, you confirm that you have read this Rental Agreement and agree to it.
