Edgewood is one of the easiest runs we make. Straight north out of our lot on Highway 13, about twenty minutes, no gravel and no county roads in between. When people ask whether we really deliver that far, Edgewood is the answer we give — it is a simpler trip than plenty of addresses in Manchester.
Rodeo weekend is the big one. Edgewood Pro Rodeo Days brings a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo to the Edgewood Rodeo Grounds every June, and the town fills with family, campers and people who need somewhere to sit and eat between go-rounds. We haul tables and chairs for rodeo weekends here. If you are hosting anybody around the rodeo, book early — that weekend goes before anything else on our calendar.
Graduation is the other half. Edgewood-Colesburg has its own building right in town, and Ed-Co Vikings families throw real parties. Same crunch as everywhere else in this part of the state: late May and early June, all at once, and the good dates are gone by March.
One thing out-of-towners never notice about Edgewood — the county line runs straight down Highway 3 through the middle of town. North side is Clayton County, south side is Delaware. It makes no difference to us. We deliver to both sides of the street for the same flat rate.
Setting up at the City Park, out by Woods Edge, at the rodeo grounds or in your own back yard, the trailer is identical and so is the price. 100 folding chairs, 20 six-foot tables, chair dollies included. $250 if you pull it yourself, $350 if we bring it to you and come back for it.
Edgewood is small enough that most people already know where they are setting up before they call. If it is the City Park, the farmers market runs there Tuesday afternoons through the summer, so we will plan the drop around it. If you are out toward Bixby or off one of the ridge roads, tell us the approach and we will bring the trailer in the easy way rather than backing it down something narrow.
